Robotics was my minor at university. Fifteen years of software later I’m going back to it: putting the AI agents we build at Droidor into machines that move, and posting every step as it happens.

Story

Freelancer, founder, and now back to robots.

I like building teams that do well when things are hard. My other rule is to correct myself early and often.

    Started freelancing

    Writing software for clients, mostly to automate their business processes.

  2. 2014

    Built my first robot at Swinburne

    A LEGO-framed rover with a gear train, servos, bump switches and a microcontroller board, built during my robotics minor. The lab picks up where it left off.

    Founded Planet Kuching, first exit

    Started while still at university: a delivery service in Kuching, Malaysia. Order anything in the city and get it delivered, noon to midnight, for RM2. Exited in 2017.

    Graduated and founded Droidor

    Earned a BSc in ICT with a minor in robotics from Swinburne. Grew Droidor from one person to forty.
